Return & Refund Policy

At Barista Equip, we want you to be completely confident with your purchase. This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds and exchanges. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Returns Window & Eligibility
• Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery or collection.
• Items must be unused, in as-new condition, and in their original packaging (including accessories, manuals and protective materials).
• A valid proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

Items not eligible for return (unless faulty under the ACL)
• Perishable goods (e.g. coffee beans, syrups, cleaning chemicals).
• Intimate or sanitary products.
• Gift cards.
• Custom or special-order items.
• Products that have been installed, used, damaged, or modified after delivery.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns
If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method for the item value only. Outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
• Use a trackable service and insure items over $75.
• A reasonable restocking fee may apply where packaging or accessories are missing.

3. Faulty or Not-as-Described Items (ACL)
You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor faults, we may repair or replace within a reasonable time.
Please contact us before returning any item so we can assist with troubleshooting or warranty routing.

4. Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange defective or damaged items for the same model, subject to stock availability.

5. Sale & Clearance Items
Sale and clearance items are not refundable for change of mind. Faulty goods remain protected under the ACL.

6. How to Lodge a Return

  1. Email orders@baristaequip.com.au with your order number, item(s), reason for return and supporting photos where applicable.
  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and issue a Return Authorisation (RMA) number with packing instructions.
  3. Ship the item to the address below. Please do not send goods directly to the manufacturer unless instructed.

7. Refund Timing
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days (bank processing times may vary).

8. Warranty
Many products include manufacturer warranties. We’ll help coordinate warranty assessment and service where applicable. Warranty coverage does not limit your ACL rights.
