Subscale's Tritan body is food-safe and ready for anything - hot or cold, wet or dry. And with IPX-4 splash resistance, cleanup is a breeze.
Safe For Liquids
Go ahead and pull a shot of espresso right in the Subscale if you wish. It's a cup after all, so it will safely hold your precious liquid.
The cup is made of Tritan and rated to support liquids up to 100°C for two hours.
You can safely wash the Subscale under running water but do not submerge it.

Very handy!
Made my single dosing easier with the Mazzer Philos. Removed 2 steps with it so I‘m pretty happy. I‘m not a coffee nerd and dosing is not really my thing but this cup scale made it easier. I just haven’t figured out how to change from grams to ounces, luckily it is in grams.

Can I wash it under running water?
It is IPX-4 splash-resistant, meaning it can be freely washed on all sides under running water but it cannot be submerged or put in the dishwasher.
How many beans can it hold?
The Subscale has space for about 60g of beans but the display goes up to 99.9 grams so those are the two upper limits.
Is Tritan safe for hot liquids
Tritan is rated according to European Union regulations to safely withstand 2 hours at 100°C (212°F) without chemical migrations and similar regulations for all other countries. It is therefore safe for your espresso.
